Covid-19 Update from The Einstein Method
I hope this finds you healthy and adapting to life as we know it during these trying times. We realize the situation and its consequences are lasting much longer than imagined, but we are steadfastly working with educators to adapt and find new ways to help teachers and their students. TEM has been fortunate to reschedule numerous virtual meetings with superintendents, supervisors, perspective donors and sponsors.
The resources teachers need from our program are more relevant than ever to get their students adjusted to this new education environment. While we recognize the necessity for virtual learning, sadly, it will result in leaving many students who were already at risk, in an even more tenuous position. This in itself presents an entirely new bag of issues foisted not only on the students, but parents and teachers as well. Education, while always transformative in its presentation, has had to become even more fluid because of the pandemic. The Einstein Method always felt the need for our services was great, however, COVID-19 has created another litany of problems and challenges which we are uniting with school systems to help solve.
This month, The Einstein Method began providing virtual Professional Development sessions in Detroit Public Schools. We are thrilled to be connecting with the teachers and looking forward to working with other districts in this new mode in the near future.
The 2020-2021 school year will be a very busy one for us as we traverse this new reality. Our thoughts are with all of you as we struggle together during this difficult time.
